TSA fingerprint scanning might be on its way to an airport near you
The TSA wants to replace paperwork with fingerprints.
The security agency will begin scanning the fingerprints of volunteer TSA pre-check passengers this week at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Denver International Airport, according to a news release.
The idea is to make airport lines more efficient by replacing boarding passes and IDs with a quick fingerprint scan. The scan matches fingerprints to a database of fingerprints that passengers gave the TSA when they applied to the pre-check program. Read more...
