Arcade Fire bans shorts, baseball hats, and other not 'hip and trendy' things at its very cool concert
Arcade Fire has some pretty strict rules for you if you're planning on attending the album release concert of their forthcoming record Everything Now.
For starters, cell phones or recording devices will not be permitted in the intimate show—which will take place in Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn on July 27. This is a requirement that seems slightly cumbersome, but to be expected from a band like Arcade Fire. But what's got people scratching their heads is the very specific dress code, explicitly requiring folks to dress "hip and trendy" if they are going to be in attendance, according to music news site Brooklyn Vegan.
