Elderly singers perform in a county jail and literally leave all inmates in tears

While it is thought that our jails house some of the toughest souls, some elderly singers found different results when they visited the Hampshire County Jail.

The group, which is known as Young @Heart Chorus requested to perform for the inmates and they were granted their request. While most of us could have expected an unreceptive audience, the expected happened. Once you watch the clip below, you will understand why there are no bounds when it comes to music.

On this day, the old folks were singing Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” and the message touched the inmates and most of the couldn’t hold back their tears. The performance was led by Jack, Elaine, Eileen and Lenny –though as we speak all these soloists have all died.

When I watched this, I concluded that the right message was delivered to the right audience. What do you think?
