Old man’s dreams of being a firefighter are answered during his 97th birthday

Professionally, Bill Grun was a teacher and he enjoyed his work a great deal. Though that was the case, he always admired the work that firefighters do. So when guys from the Doylestown, Pennsylvania Fire Department discovered that he was about to celebrate his birthday, they came up with a plan.

In the clip below we meet Bill and a firefighter who is about to make the old man’s dreams come true. So the fire department showed up in his retirement home and he saw the big red firetruck. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing since it was something that he had always dreamt about. Though it was just for a day, his dreams of being a firefighter were answered.

Despite there being no fire to put off, Bill enjoyed the moment. The excitement and expression of joy across his faced showed everything. He had the best experience ever during his 97th birthday.
