Transgender activist trolls the Texas Governor and it feels so, so good
Forget petitions or protest: Trolling for social change is some of the best kind of activism there is.
Texas activist Ashely Smith recently decided to politely troll Texas Governor Gregg Abbott. Abbott, a strong supporter of the state's anti-trans bathroom bill, didn't seem to notice he was posing for a picture with a transgender woman and LGBTQ activist.
"How will the Potty Police know I'm transgender if the Governor doesn't?" Smith wrote.
Abbott recently announced his re-election campaign for Governor. Smith, a member of Indivisible's Austin chapter, isn't exactly a fan of the governor, a strong social conservative who recently revived an anti-trans bathroom bill in the legislature. Read more...
