On a beautiful summer’s day in Minneapolis, between the Warehouse District and the Gateway District, a line outside the famous Fine Line Music Cafe wrapped around the block.
A clear energy buzzed amongst the crowd as dozens of Big Brothers and Big Sisters (“Bigs”) and the kids they mentor ("Littles”) craned their necks to try to get a glimpse inside. Nobody knew what would happen when they signed up for this event.
