'Call of Duty' figures out how to make loot boxes even more awful
Apparently the next Call of Duty game will let players watch other players open loot boxes. It's a Feature™ built into the game. Watching other people unbox loot.
The latest issue of Game Informer revealed a brand new social hub coming to Call of Duty: WWII called Headquarters, where players can hang out between online matches, challenge each other to 1v1 duels, test guns on a firing range, open loot boxes earned in the last match ... and watch other players open loot boxes.
Not only are you able to watch people open up digital loot boxes, you are actually encouraged to do so. Read more...
