Cameras record mom and daughter bonding for the very first time as all watch in awe

Irrespective of the way a baby is born into this world – whether though C-section or natural birth – it is always an incredible moment when a mother sees her baby for the very first time. In the U.S., around 32% of the births are through C-section. That means sometimes the anesthesia will prevent some of the mothers from holding their babies. When that happens, the baby is usually placed on the chest of the mother.

Brenda Coêlho de Souza delivered her baby, Ágata Ribeiro Coêlho, via C-section. Since she couldn’t move her hands after the delivery, her little baby was placed on her chest and it didn’t take long for the two to connect.

The newborn took out her hand and touched Brenda Coêlho de Souza’s check and moved her mouth as if she wanted to kiss her. All that time the medical staff watched in awe as mother and daughter bonded.
