Not even the 100 surgeries she went through after a plane crash can hold back her talent

If there is a person who has gone through a lot in this life, then that person is Kechi Okwuchi. When she was only 16 years of age, she was involved in a plane crash where 107 people died. Though she survived the crash, she had to go through 100 surgeries and the scars of the accident will last forever.

Despite all she has gone through, nothing can hold her back from doing what she loves. In the clip below, we see her perform on America’s Got Talent. Here, she was singing “Have a Little Faith in Me,” a song by John Hiatt. The way she smoothly hits the notes together with her powerful voice shows that she is there to compete.

By the time Kechi had finished her performance, both the audience and the judges were on their feet. Kechi couldn’t believe she had received a standing ovation and stared in disbelief.
