Dog travels over 2 miles to visit owner admitted in hospital, see what the cameras recorded

Dogs are a blessing to our lives and they hardly abandon us when we need them most. If what the cameras recorded at the Mercy Medical Center is anything to go by, then these animals need to be appreciated. Employees of the hospital which is located in Cedar Rapids, Lowa, were surprised when they saw a tiny Schnauzer while watching the surveillance footage.

Nancy Frank, a 64-year-old grandma was admitted in the hospital, and Sissy, the Schnauzer, had escaped to pay her a visit. As reported by ABC News, Nancy was struggling with uterine cancer and was supposed to have a surgery.

When Sissy ran way from home, Dale, Nancy’s husband, was the one taking care of her. When he discovered the dog was missing, he panicked and after a few hours he got a call informing him that Sissy was at the hospital, which was around two miles away from home.

The incident baffled everyone and you can watch the clip below to see how it all happened.
