Apple's leaked HomePod firmware is the gift that keeps on giving.
This time iHelp BR has discovered lines of code referencing possible upgrades Apple might make to the upcoming iPhone 8's front and rear cameras. Vloggers like Casey Neistat will especially love these additions if they turn out to be true.
The firmware dump doesn't tell us anything about the iPhone 8's image sensors, but it includes references that suggest the phone will be capable of recording video in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
Apple first added 4K video capture at 30 frames per second to the iPhone 6S, and it's remained the same on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Read more...
