We finally have a shipping date for Andy Rubin's Essential phone
The Essential phone is real, you guys, and it will actually start shipping within 7 days.
This is according to an email sent to customers who have reserved the phone, Android Authority reports. This doesn't, however, include the Essential 360 Camera; customers that ordered it will receive a separate email with a shipping date for the gadget.

The news comes after a long delay (the phone was originally due for a June launch) during which it was unclear when the phone would ship.
