John Cleese says he's not bothered by prospect of death
"Most of the best people are dead."
That kind of goes for most of the worst people too, seeing as most of whoever's existed has died, but it's still catchy. It's also typical John Cleese.
Cleese went on Fallon last night and talked about old age and impending death. Surprise surprise, he does so using surreal humour.
The seventy-seven year old (he has trouble remembering that at first) is going on tour in the US with screenings of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Possibly more affronting than the f-bombs Cleese casually lobs into the conversation is the fact he says he doesn't like the film. He must be lying, right? Read more...
