Desolate horse’s final goodbye to owner at his funeral will break your heart

34- year-old Paraguayan cowboy, Wagner Lima, passed away on New Year’s Day in 2017. He was involved in a motorcycle accident while in Brazil.

Wagner and his horse, Sereno, were best of friends. His brother, Wando, said his brother’s horse was everything to him. It was if the horse knew his human friend was dead and wished to say his goodbye.

Wando led the emotional march to Wagner’s final resting place in Brazil. The horse marched together with the procession but nobody appeared to the reaction of the grieving horse.

The horse got close to Wagner’s casket to pick out his scent. He laid his head on the casket with sadness written all over his face.

It was a sad sight to behold. Wando promised to take care of the horse in a bid to honor his brother.
