Paddles, the first cat of New Zealand, could be Twitter's most powerful feline
New Zealanders are really into creating social media accounts for their animals.
Even the country's incoming Prime Minister Jacinta Ardern, whose cat Paddles — a ginger and white cat with opposable thumbs — has its own Twitter account, @FirstCatofNZ.
It's not exactly known who actually runs the account, according to Newshub. The account's description says it's an "independent cat" and that it's "not affurliated with the Labour Pawty."
However, there's speculation that it's run by Ardern's partner, Clarke Gayford, a host of a TV fishing show. Read more...
