Last night James Corden added his voice to the many talk-show hosts who had to put on their shows in the wake of the shooting in Las Vegas.
Corden opened The Late Late Show with a statement of condolence. "We're thinking of you tonight," he said of the hundreds killed and injured. He then praised those who have already mobilised to help following the attack, and voiced an optimism in humanity, "because that's what people do [...] those will be far greater examples of human nature than that shooter on the thirty-second floor."
