EDC China Warns DJs Could Get Arrested If They Swear on the Mic
Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival China, also known as EDC China, officially wrapped up, but it was revealed that DJs who performed on stage were threatened with arrest if they disobeyed one particular rule.
A picture taken during the event, which ran for two days on Nov. 24 to 25 at the Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, China shows a sign posted in the venue that warns those who will perform to not drop any profanity on microphone.
This was apparently given to all artists at EDC China 🤐🤐

“No swearing or bad language on the microphone during your performance today, or you risk being detained by the police,” the sign, distributed by Insomniac, states, according to EDM.com. “You have been warned!”
Fortunately, no reports emerged of any performer being arrested. It was also noted in the report that the warning does include profanity in songs being played by the artists.
