On Monday night, Seth Meyers took a Closer Look at the feedback loop that exists between Fox News and President Donald Trump. Trump famously likes to hire people or suggest random ideas after seeing them on Fox, brags about his coronavirus briefings' "ratings," and reportedly had an Oval Office meeting about hydroxychloroquine with Fox personality Laura Ingraham and two doctors who appear on her show.
"So a Fox host with no medical expertise is directly advising the president on a deadly pandemic while that same president hires pundits he sees on TV and fires or punishes actual experts and inspector-generals who criticize him," Meyers summed up.
