Special edition of Kia's electric EV6 announced with AR display and 300-mile range
Kia's first electric SUV without a gas-powered or hybrid counterpart made its global debut at the end of March, and now it's arrived in the U.S.
At the North America debut of the EV6 Tuesday evening, Korea-based Kia showed off its newest EV at Times Square in New York City.
The compact SUV will be available in 2022, but online reservations open on June 3 this year.
Aside from a special First Edition, the EV6 comes in three variations: the standard EV6, and the GT and GT-Line. The most powerful battery promises more than 300 miles of range and the fast GT version goes from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds.
