The Samsung Galaxy S22 is $100 off for a very limited time
SAVE $100: The new Samsung Galaxy S22 (unlocked, 128GB) typically retails for $799.99, but Woot has it on sale for only $699.99 on March 23 — a 13% savings.
The new iPhones stole the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup's thunder for a minute, but Woot's got a limited-time deal that snatches it right back.
The entry-level Samsung Galaxy S22 (with 128GB of storage) is on sale there for only $699.99 through the end of the day today (March 23), which shaves a good $100 off its suggested retail price. This is a Phantom Black model that's "factory unlocked," meaning you can use it with the carrier of your choice.
We're going to go ahead and call this one the best non-trade-in deal on the S22 since it came out last month. (AT&T and Verizon were technically giving away free ones during its preorder phase, but that required giving up an old Galaxy Note, S, or Z series phone and signing up for an installment plan. Gross!)
With no embedded S-Pen, unlike the new S22 Ultra, the design of the standard S22 should be immediately familiar to anyone who's encountered a Galaxy S phone before. It's a nice combination of power and performance, boasting a 6.1-inch AMOLED 120Hz display, the Galaxy lineup's first-ever 4nm processor, and a three-camera setup that supports Samsung's new Auto Framing and Nightography (nighttime portrait) features.
Mashable hasn't reviewed it at the time of writing, but if it helps, the very similar Galaxy S22+ almost converted tech reporter and self-proclaimed "iPhone addict" Jennimai Nguyen into a full-on Android believer. You can read her review of it here.
