How to enjoy one month of Paramount+ for free
Save up to $9.99: Looking for free shows and movies? Now through June 20, you can find them at Paramount+ with an extended one-month free trial on the Essential or Premium plan. Just use the code SUMMER.
Everybody likes free things, especially when those things are access exclusive shows and movies for an entire month.
Thanks to Paramount+’s Summer Special, new users to the streaming service get exactly that. Whether you opt for the Essential or Premium plan, Paramount+ is offering an extended month-long free trial when you use the code SUMMER at checkout through June 20.
Paramount+ may not have quite the name recognition of Netflix or Hulu, but it's still one of our favorite streaming services. On the TV end, you'll find shows from ViacomCBS classics like Comedy Central, BET, MTV, and Nickelodeon. As for movies, their catalog includes picks from Paramount (naturally), Miramax, and MGM, like Arrival, A Quiet Place, and Life is Beautiful.
You'll also find original content, from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to the iCarly revival — there's truly something for everyone (including, in three days, a new mockumentary series from the co-creator of American Vandal).
You'll also get access to live sports, news, and your local CBS station, though the level of access depends on your chosen plan.
Best of all, Paramount+ is a fair bit cheaper than other streaming services (cough, Netflix, cough) out there. After you enjoy your free month, the Essential plan will cost you $4.99 monthly and include live NFL and Champions League coverage and live CBS News on top of the 10,000+ shows and movies the service has to offer. You will, however, have to deal with limited ads.
The Premium plan decreases the ads (though they remain on live TV and a few shows), but includes even more live sports and the ability to download shows, all for $9.99 per month. Either way, it's worth trying a month for free — just make sure you use the code SUMMER when you sign up before June 20.
