Kendrick Lamar surprises a long-time fan with the gift of a lifetime

Kendrick Lamar changed a fan's life at a recent tour stop with a touching gift.

After sustaining injuries in a car accident, Jennifer Phillips became quadriplegic. The long-time Lamar supporter had met the rapper previously, but during another meeting backstage in Dallas Friday, Lamar gifted Phillips with an incredibly kind gift of an accessible van, which she had crowdfunding for in April 2016.

"Thank you for always supporting me. Your a inspiration for me. You are strong and positive. You are kind and beautiful," Lamar's note, written on the back of his tour merchandise, reads.
