'The Disaster Artist' teaser: James Franco makes the most notoriously terrible movie of all time
Oh hi, Mark. And also other Mashable readers not named Mark. Anyway, we've got something perfectly terrible for you today, and that is the first teaser for The Disaster Artist – James Franco's new movie about the making of Tommy Wiseau's The Room.
To clarify, The Room might be bad but The Disaster Artist actually looks pretty good. Franco, who also directed, stars as Wiseau, the eccentric mind behind a movie so notoriously awful, it became a cult classic in its own right.
And the clip above seems to offer a tiny bit of insight into why Wiseau's film turned out so poorly. It's got something to do with Wiseau's apparent inability to complete even the simplest tasks, like memorizing a few simple lines. Read more...
