10 Most Badass Fight Scenes in the MCU (pre-Infinity-War)

Comic book movies are the best, but only if you don’t try to apply too much real-world logic to the plot, and especially you should not question the physics. Let’s just say, as long as your disbelief is dangling nicely in the air, you’ll love Marvel movies. IMO, the best part of these ridiculously over-the-top flicks are the amazing action scenes that stick in your memory for years to come. Case in point: this very list.

There have been so many MCU blockbusters, each of them with a plethora of fantastic moments, that just trying to pick only the best of them makes my head hurt. But a fan’s gotta do what a fan’s gotta do, and this is my list of 10 most badass fight scenes in the MCU!

#10. Black Panther vs. Ulysses Klaue (Black Panther)
It all starts in the Korean casino when T’Challa and Klaue exchange pleasantries, then turns into an adrenaline-filled chase through the streets of Seoul, and finishes with Klaue being arrested. Sounds very linear and boring, I’ll admit, but it’s true what they say – one video clip is worth a thousand words. Sadly, you’ll have to wait for the movie to come out on DVD to see it in its full glory, which is why it’s at #10.

#9. Hulk vs Hulkbuster (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
Aside from James Spader as the voice of Ultron, this brawl between Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster armor, and the thing it’s supposed to bust – the Hulk – is the best part of the Age of Ultron movie, IMO. You really can’t beat Spader’s raspy voice, but turns out you can beat the Hulk into oblivion, it just takes half a city to do it.

#8. Battle for New York (Avengers)
I still get goosebumps every time I rewatch this modern classic. Yeah, I said it, Avengers is up there with the best action movies! A lot of this movie’s charm comes from the clever writing (thanks, Whedon) and the rest is pure “YES! YES! HELL YES!”. You know, how everyone “assembles” in New York to fight the army of aliens using their unique skills and the power of teamwork! Boy, I can’t wait for the Infinity War.
