Asantae Review – Is The MLM A Network Marketing Nightmare Or Is It A Legit Money Maker?
Company: Asantae
Website: www.asantae.com
I am glad that you found this article because I think it can really help you out.
Whether you are looking for a great way to make a living online or just trying to find an MLM that works best for you, you came to the right place.
Before we dive in with the review of Asantae, I have to provide a bit of a disclaimer.
The nearly 20 year lifespan of the company has been confusing and there will be an extra long overview portion to help clarify everything.
If you want to skip that part, go ahead, but you may have a hard time understanding some of the other portions of the review without reading all of it.
This includes the most important part of the review which is the compensation plan.
Without further ado…Asantae.
An Asantae Overview
According to a few sources I was able to find about the start up of Asantae, it was launched in 1998.
I also found a few sources that say it didn’t launch until 2001.
Off to a great start…
It has been and still remains a health and wellness MLM but if you visit the website, there seems to be basic information absent.
Go ahead and take a brief moment to visit the website I provided you, above.
There is no history or “about us” sections, which leaves a lot up for speculation.
Look, I’m not saying that Asantae is doing anything shady, in fact, quite the opposite.
I just trying to point out that this kind of basic information can help future MLM’ers make the right choice.
I know what you are probably thinking…what does this kind of information have to do with making money?
Believe it or not, the history of a company can provide you with information like, how strong of a company it is or how long people have been able to make a decent living.
Little bits of information like this can provide a way for MLM’ers to connect with the company on a level other than just the products that are being sold.
OK, OK….back to the overview.
During the launch of the company, there seems to be a connection between Inflammation Solutions LLC and Asantae.
However, there is very little information about Inflammation Solutions. So it is fair to say that there is a connection and that the company was launched in 1998.
With that being said, I have seen a few sources indicate that as antae may have been relaunched in 2007 because that is when as antae.com was registered.
Even some affiliates confirm this by saying that the company officially launched in 2008.
Are you as confused as I am?
It would do everyone a favor if Asantae would provide this kind of information so that all false claims are put to rest.
It would work in their favor unless there is something else we are not aware of.
At any rate, Asantae headquarters is in Arizona and is co-founded by Daniel Lundell and Jay Sargeant.
Earlier this year, Asantae joined Ariix’s product line.
This clarifies why you get sent to Ariix’s business opportunity page after clicking asantae’s opportunity link.
And…why Asantae has not released an updated compensation plan since 2014.
To keep things as simple as possible, I am willing to say that if you want to get 100% clarification, you have to call Asantae’s customer service representatives.
From where I am standing, in order to sell Asantae products, you will most likely have to join Ariix MLM.
This means that Asantae is just a product line and Ariix simply absorbed the Asantae MLM.
Plan To Get Paid…Or Not
Here is a link to the 2014 compensation plan offered by Asantae. I will highlight all of the key points and allow you to read through the entire plan if you feel the need.
There are 3 main ways to get paid with the Asantae compensation plan.
Immediate Income
- Preferred Customers and Retail orders
- Bonus for First Order
- Bonus for Team Development
Earn 10% on Preferred Customer orders.
You also earn 100% on all sales after your Personal Volume(PV) adds up to 200.
This is a pretty nice way of earning cash, especially if you have a well established and consistent team.
The one-time First Order bonus is pretty self explanatory.
You get 5% on your distributor’s first order as long as you are active.
I know it is not a huge amount but money is money, no matter how you look at it.
The Team Development Bonus is something that many MLMs do not offer.
Asantae puts 2% of the entire company’s total weekly commission-able volume in a pool and shares to all affiliates that qualify for the bonus.
Residual Income
- Commissions from Team
- Tree Bonus for Personal Enrollments
The residual income can add up quickly if you qualify for team bonuses. Here is a quick formula to show you how it works.
10% X 500 = $50
The 500 figure is from your total business volume from your Non-Pay Team.
This figure carries over to the next week as long as you remain active.
It seems like “remain active” is the name of the game for Asantae. You can also earn from the Tree Bonus for personal enrollments.
This is a much more simple concept because you earn 5% on a 4 level system for your active distributors.
If you have a great team, you can earn a lot of money with this bonus.
Leadership Income
- Bonus for Gold Generation
- Earning Centers
Every week that you meet the requirements to qualify for Gold, Ruby or Diamond status, you earn 2% on the entire group (BV).
Although you have to be a heavy hitter in order to reach this status, it is still something to aim for and if you do, you get a nice payout in the process.
You can earn a grand total 3 earning centers in a given week.
The first earning center is your team.
The other 2 can change the $10,000 per week potential to $30,000 per week for all qualified affiliates. O
k, this just got real. If there is a potential of that much money, I’m listening…
Since, there is a little bit of confusion as to which compensation plan is the one to follow, I will provide you the Ariix review that will help you on your MLM journey.
The Positives Of Asantae
Asantae has a product line that is marketable.
The affiliates are able to make sales and create a team in which they earn commission on.
I am sure that some affiliates have advantages such as personal development and training.
This could translate to something menacing like, certain kinds of skills dictate success.
I can only assume that this means marketing skills, recruiting skills and creating a downline.
If you don’t know what any of those skills are, I would start working on them immediately.
If you do know about those skills, then I think there is a better than not chance you can succeed with Asantae.
The Negatives of Asantae
The only real problem I have with the business side of things is the auto-shipping program.
Do you think that it is a coincidence that your PV requirement is 100 and so is the cost of the auto-ship program?
I don’t think so…
This is a sure way to keep people active, but it is way too aggressive of a sales plan and a sure way for Asantae to move a lot of product.
Ok, I get it, it is optional.
But some people do not realize that if you do not reach the 100 PV mark, you lose money.
The Final Verdict
There are plenty of good things to say about Asantae but the lack of transparency that Asantae provides makes them seem shady.
Ok…so you may not have a problem with that because there is a potential of huge payouts from the compensations plans.
I do however think that Asantae owes a bit more to their affiliates. This has nothing to do with a business obligation and everything to do with a moral obligation.
There is absolutely no way that Asantae is a scam, in fact, I think it is one of the better compensation plans available.
Now that Ariix has taken over, it can only get better.
I guess what I am trying to say is that most people overlook transparency because there is money to be made.
I get it, you have a family to feed and other obligations.
