Pregnant mom shows off her baby bump. Orangutan falls in love and gets emotional
Parenthood is an incredible thing. It doesn’t matter if you are human, dog or ape, raising a child is one of the most amazing experiences anyone can experience.
The experience of being pregnant is so special that even an Orangutan at the Colchester zoo couldn’t help but get emotional.
Here’s a video of the Orangutan sharing a heartfelt moment with a pregnant mother.
Kieran and his wife were looking at a large Orangutan when suddenly he became interested in her baby bump. As the wife got closer to the glass, the large animal seemed to get emotional as he realized there was life within this woman.
Trying to get a better look at the baby, the Orangutan pressed his head on the glass. There, he kept his head against the glass as he appreciated the baby’s presence.
He then softly touched her belly over the glass and even kissed right where the baby was. To make matters even more touching, the Orangutan was so emotional that he even shed a tear for the mother.
Truly a remarkable thing to see– an animal knowing exactly what is going on in that lady’s womb. It is comforting to know that even though we are a different species, the Orangutan appreciates the life within the woman.
