Mom Fails To Answer The Door, Then 5 Minutes Later Cops Show Up. What Do You Think?

One unfounded judgement left one mom from Connecticut badly shaken.  It happened one morning when Patty Levreault was in the house with her kids. Her daughter and son were watching a program on TV when she heard the doorbell ring. When she looked, she saw it was the delivery man. Since she was still wearing her pajamas, she decided not to answer the call. The delivery man thought the kids were home alone and informed child services about the same. After five minutes, 3 police vehicles showed up. Levreault feared the worst and those her kids could be taken away and that she might end up in jail. It was such a shameful incident. According to her, “parent shaming” occurs when quick judgments are made by strangers like in her case. Though it is good that people make sure that kids are safe, people should ensure they have fully assessed such situations before they can act. What do you think about the same?
