Turns out, this man just spotted some clam holding up in the sand, so he figured he could get it out and into the open by giving it something it doesn’t like. Genius! When he sprinkles the salt, the clam tries to migrate, exposing itself in the process, and that’s when this sharp guy takes hold of it. He’ll probably sell at the market and make something off it.
