iTunes is coming to the Windows Store, Apple Music and all
In a move that few saw coming, Microsoft announced during its Build developer keynote today that it is working to bring iTunes to the Windows Store.
While PC owners running Windows have had the ability to download iTunes directly from Apple, this is the first time users can obtain the Apple Music client and media player directly from a Microsoft-sanctioned digital marketplace.
The announcement is also a bit of a head-turner because the Windows Store has somewhat of a reputation for an underwhelming selection of apps, especially ones from platform competitors like Apple.
No details where announced yet regarding a release date or regional availability, but we will update this story as more information develops.
