Thai Flight Attendants Welcome Britney Spears By Recreating ‘Toxic’ Music Video
Britney Spears gets a fitting welcome in Thailand with an epic Toxic music video rendition from actual Thai flight attendants.
The well-made cover, which featured four Nok Air employees, was reportedly made to welcome Britney Spears before her arrival in Thailand for her Bangkok tour slated on Friday, June 23, and Saturday, June 24, reports CNN.
In the lip-synced, dance video uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday, the women are shown strutting their stuff to the catchy tune that the American pop-star made famous over a decade ago.
Spears herself played a flight attendant in the music video which premiered on MTV on January 13, 2004.
The cabin crew members of the low-cost Thai carrier reportedly took advantage of an empty plane to do their version of Spears’ music video.
Donning their uniforms, the talented flight attendants recreated the original video’s scenes and choreography quite impressively.
“We are really excited to see our crew’s initiatives to make this incredible video,” Nok Air’s vice president of marketing and sales Pinyot Pibulsongkram was quoted as saying. “Not only that they are excited about Britney landing in Bangkok and love the song Toxic, but they also had a lot of fun representing our brand.”
Back in March, Assraf Nasir of AirAsia also made a version which immediately went viral and is still making the rounds on social media.
Flight attendants of El Al Airlines also utilized an empty plane a few weeks ago to welcome Spears in Israel.
