'Simpsons' creator Matt Groening leads chant against Trump at Comic-Con
The creator of The Simpson made his views on President Donald Trump clear this weekend when he led a crowd to chant "Lock him up!"
Matt Groening initiated a "Lock him up" chant aimed at Trump during a panel at Comic-Con Saturday, The Huffington Post reported, corralling hundreds of people to call for the arrest of the U.S. president. The chant was undoubtedly a reference to "Lock her up" chants from conservatives aimed at Hillary Clinton during Trump's 2016 election campaign.
Groening initiated the chant after revealing that 20th Century Fox, the distributor of The Simpsons and its home network, told writers of The Simpsons to go easy on the network after Fox News was referenced in an episode as the no. 1 channel for racists. Read more...
