Elephant brings traffic to a standstill for the love of potatoes

When it comes to potatoes, I love all the varieties; they are tasty. Whether boiled, baked, smashed or grilled, I love them. I wish I could have them on a regular basis.

Therefore, I can completely connect with the potato-fond elephant in this footage. This enormous chap stopped the motor vehicle, took out a cover with his trunk, and assisted himself with some potatoes, or perhaps a full bunch of potatoes.

The clip from Eastern India’s Garhbeta forest region shows an untamed elephant stopping traffic on a national freeway, for the sake of tubers.

Drivers attempt to send the elephant away. But he stays put undaunted by the smoke and crowd. They even throw some risk-free firecrackers; hoping the sound will drive him away.

Watch this recording and witness this elephant have fun with potato palooza, ignoring the ruckus around him. I would certainly not interfere with this big chap and his potatoes.
