Katy Perry's 'Swish Swish' video is a celeb-filled 'Space Jam' knockoff

"Swish Swish" from Katy Perry's Witness is ostensibly a song about haters and feuds, but Perry doesn't do much with that concept. This one features Perry and over a dozen celebrities in a ludicrous basketball game, but much like the many baskets they shoot, it's a miss.

Like Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" before it (which this seems in response to), "Swish Swish" is full of gratuitous celebrity appearances that offer little more than the novelty of seeing these people in the same place.

The game itself will make you long for Space Jam, but let's pray it never gets the disservice of a remake. There are a few bright points, like Nicki Minaj's halftime verse/dance break and the stars of GLOW cheering from the sidelines.
