11 Celebrities You Didn’t Know Were Addicted to Gaming
Do you feel guilty for the amount of time you spend playing games? You probably could use your time more productively, but then again, we’re on this planet to have a good time, not to be productivity machines. You have to know how to relax. If you’re relaxation method of choice is playing games, you might have more in common with these 11 celebrities than you think!
Vin Diesel
I would guess that the star of the Fast and Furious franchise would be a fan of racing games, but in fact, he prefers World of Warcraft and Call of Duty. He’s probably really good at it too. There’s no “I” in team, but there’s two I’s in Vin Diesel, so he’s a one man army all by himself. When Vin was staring in the Riddick movie franchise, he launched his own game development company called Tygon Studios which created two Riddick games.
Snoop Dogg
I actually didn’t know that Snoop Dogg had a thing for gaming, but it makes total sense. The songs of Snoop has been featured in a few games (from EA’s NBA Live 2003 on to Need For Speed Underground 2, on to even Call of Duty). In fact, Snoops infatuation with the Call of Duty video game franchise has earned him the privilege of providing a voice over for one of the games DLCs!
Henry Cavill
Before Henry became the face of Superman, he was actually killing a lot of time playing World of Warcraft. In fact, in an interview with Conan he told the story of how he very nearly missed the call to play Superman! He was playing World of Warcraft, and his number one priority at the time of the call was to successfully finish a raid with his MMORPG buddies. I mean, I like playing games too, but I wouldn’t let a call from a major film studio go to voicemail because I’m too busy kicking butt in Azeroth.
Megan Fox
Megan caused quite a stir within the gaming community when she confessed that she’s a pretty avid gamer. During her press junket tour for The Dictator she told the press that she spends quite a lot of time playing games, and since then it’s been brought up in every single interview. She can honestly kick some serious butt in Mortal Combat, and if your gaming platform of choice is the xBox, then there’s quite a high chance that the butt-whooping you’ve been receiving might have been coming from her.
