Blizzard Entertainment wouldn't exist without its founder's grandma
Blizzard Entertainment owes a lot to co-founder Mike Morhaime's grandmother.
During a pre-BlizzCon live stream on Wednesday, Morhaime revealed that his own grandmother Mildred Miller loaned him $15,000 to help get the company started. Even better, she let him pay her back with no interest.
The letter that Morhaime received from his grandmother is now on display in the Blizzard Vault:
Morhaime said he and another one of Blizzard's co-founders Allen Adham pitched in $10,000 each to get the company off the ground, and Morhaime's $10,000 came from his grandma's loan. Read more...
