Quick, what's everyone afraid of with the new iPhone X? That your loving partner will steal your information while you're asleep, apparently.
The new iPhone X will leave out the traditional fingerprint scanner in favour of its new facial recognition system, Face ID, to unlock the phone. Apple says the phone's infrared camera will map about 30,000 dots onto your face to accurately identify it.
This has led people to quickly assume that your identity can be stolen while you're asleep, if your partner uses your face to unlock your phone. (It's not true. Your eyes need to be open and looking at the phone for Face ID to work.) Read more...
