An incomplete list of celebrity statements on Harvey Weinstein
Now that the "open secret" of Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct is just out in the open, and no longer a secret, everyone's got something to say about it.
And with good reason. Those who didn't know (or claim not to have known) are eager to distance themselves; those who were pressured or frightened into silence finally feel free to speak up; and many, many people are eager to discuss the systematic discrimination that enabled Weinstein for decades.
In some cases, victims of other predators were inspired to share their own stories. In others, people with their own histories of assault or harassment found that their comments opened them up to wider scrutiny.
