Compelled by the bravery of those who spoke out about Harvey Weinstein, women from all industries are coming forward to recount episodes of sexual harassment. Such as Icelandic pop star Björk.
She has written about her experience with a "Danish director".
As she herself acknowledges, she comes from a country "that is one of the world's place (sic) closest to equality between the sexes".
And she says it was relatively "easy" to walk away from the film industry, since she's a celebrated musician with "no ambitions in the acting world" — but things are very different for other actresses. Read more...
