Man rescues an iguana from the ocean in an entertaining and heartwarming manner

Steve loves kayaking and runs the Key WestKayak fishing YouTube page. Steve uploaded an animal rescue video that has gone viral for the right reasons.

We all know animal rescuers have a certain level of seriousness. However, Steve’s rescue mission is hilarious and heartwarming. Steve returns from an offshore trip on his kayak when he notices something floating in the water from a distance. He assumed it was a fish. Upon taking a closer look, the unidentified creature swims towards his boat.

It was an iguana! Steve speaks to the iguana as if it was a real person. He asks what the iguana is doing there or has it lost its way.

Although he has seen many iguanas swimming around the islands, he had never seen them swim so far.

The kindhearted man volunteers to take the exhausted iguana back to the shore in his kayak. He even urges the iguana to get onto the boat and sturdy himself.
