San Juan mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz didn't ask to become Trump's target. She's going all in anyway.
If you don't yet know Carmen Yulín Cruz by name, you probably know her instead as the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and as the outspoken woman Donald Trump recently targeted on social media.
When her hurricane-ravaged city struggled to get aid days after Maria pummeled Puerto Rico, she didn't hold back about the crisis.
"We are dying here," she said in a press conference last Friday, following comments from a federal official describing the recovery efforts as a "good-news story." Trump wasn't pleased with Cruz's candor and, as he's wont to do, made that clear in a series of tweets.
