Neil Diamond announces retirement from touring following Parkinson’s disease diagnosis
Legendary musician Neil Diamond has announced his retirement from touring, due to a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.
The 76-year-old New Yorker made the announcement on Monday in a press statement that said the onset of the disease has made large-scale touring difficult.
“It is with great reluctance and disappointment that I announce my retirement from concert touring," said Diamond.
"I have been so honored to bring my shows to the public for the past 50 years. My sincerest apologies to everyone who purchased tickets and were planning to come to the upcoming shows. Read more...
