It's official: 2 billion people use Facebook every month
Out of the dorm, into the history books.
Facebook announced on Wednesday that the social network is used by 2 billion people per month.
Excuse us, 2.01 billion. That 0.01 is just a measly 10 million people. Such are the rounding errors when dealing with Facebook.
Zuckerberg had previously announced the milestone, but Wednesday's earnings make it a bit more official.
And if you could tell, Zuck is pretty excited about it.
"We had a good second quarter and first half of the year," he said in a press release about the earnings. "Our community is now two billion people and we're focusing on bringing the world closer together." Read more...
