Chewbacca Mom's viral fame did much more than inspire everyone to go out and buy Star Wars toys — it also gave actress Nia Vardalos an idea for a new television series.
According to Deadline, the My Big Fat Greek Wedding actress is set to star in an upcoming dramedy series about a suburban housewife who accidentally becomes famous from a viral video.
With the working title Suburbs Famous, the show is reportedly in development at Bravo and co-written by Mike Mariano, executive producer of Raising Hope. Read more...
