This is how engineers replace a five-tonne aircraft engine in 24 hours
Virgin Atlantic recorded a time-lapse video which showed how a team of engineers replaced a five-tonne aircraft engine in the space of just 24 hours.
The impressive footage was filmed at the airline's London Heathrow hangar.
The 65,636 square feet hangar is where maintenance work, checks and repairs on aircraft are carried out.
Watch this video to see how they replace and install a new Rolls-Royce Trent 500 engine onto the plane.
