The fight between Uber and the Philippines is on
Uber is fighting back against the Philippines.
Despite being slapped with a one-month suspension by the Philippines' land transport authority, Uber announced on Tuesday that it would be "resuming and continuing operations."

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced Uber's month-long suspension, after the ride-hailing giant disregarded an earlier order not to accept or activate any more new drivers on its platform.

The LTFRB ordered Uber to "cease and desist" its operations, which Uber had originally agreed to, according to a tweet sent out on early Tuesday morning. Read more...
