Days after her dad passed away, kid took the stage and dedicated her performance to him

Very few things are as painful as losing someone you really love and cherish, most all a family member that’s been always there for you. That said, you can imagine what this kid went through when she lost her dad while she was in the competition on America’s Got Talent. It’s heartbreaking, to say the least!

When Evie Claire entered the competition, she made sure to dedicate all her stunning performances to her ailing dad, Amos Abplanap, who was dealing with stage-4 cancer. Claire made it all the way to the finals, but her dad passed away before her final performance. But she was strong and determined. She decided to sing for her sweet daddy one last time before millions of people. She shone bright!

In the video, you watch as the 13-year-old sings her heart out in a heart-tugging rendition of Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World.”
