Scared elderly woman has an odd request when officer volunteers to help during Hurricane Irma

As the United States recovers from the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma hit the Southeast, and specifically Florida. The ferocious hurricane has wreaked havoc in the region forcing millions of residents to evacuate.

Sadly, not all the people have the strength to make the long trips to the shelters. The Osceola County deputy was offering aid in a nearby shelter when Hurricane Irma raged. The kind-hearted officer noted that one of the senior women in the room was scared. The officers said the woman looked sad and worried.

The deputy approached the woman and decided to cheer her up. The woman replied that she wanted to dance with thedeputy.

Even in difficult and chaotic times, the human spirit remains indomitable. With love and care, we can get through anything.
