Dude chases bear off his property like it's a stray cat

For most people in the world bears are majestic beasts worthy of our admiration. But for anyone that lives around bears, they can be huge pests, capable of destroying anything they come across.

It's important for those who live among bears to keep them in check. If they become accustom to humans, they can become unafraid and can potentially be very dangerous. So, it's encouraged for people to scare bears away from their home, creating a negative experience so they do not want to return.

When this man discovered a bear rummaging through some cans on the porch of his home near Kuusamo, Finland, he decided the best plan of action was to attempt to scare the bear away. After startling the bear off the porch, the bear attempts to return, so this guy actually exited his house, armed with nothing but a broom, of course.  Read more...
