FXX's twisted comedy lovechild You're The Worst made its Season 4 debut on Wednesday, and while it's biting, witty, and sexy as ever, it's still in an exceedingly dark place.
Season 3 ended with Lindsay finally through with her marriage, Edgar on the cusp of his comedy career, and Gretchen and Jimmy engaged...for all of two minutes, before he drove away and left her abandoned in the Hollywood Hills (he's been on his own journey, but that's another piece for another time).
