The unicorn trend is no longer a rarity. Can we please call time on it?

A unicorn sighting used to be synonymous with something rare, precious, and seldom-sighted. But, the appropriation of this mythical creature as a trendy emblem to emblazon iPhone cases, water bottles, and tote bags has rendered this symbol an out-of-control behemoth. 

Thanks to the unicorn trend, this former rarity is literally everywhere. It's time for the unicorn trend to die once and for all.

In the past few months alone we've seen unicorn Easter eggs, unicorn eyeliner, unicorn eyebrows, unicorn macarons, unicorn toast and unicorn lattes.
